Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Policy Manager to join our team at NHS Shared Business Services. As a key member of our procurement team, you will play a crucial role in shaping our organisation's procurement strategy and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead the implementation of new Procurement Regulations in 2023/24, ensuring seamless integration with existing processes.
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant regulations, laws, and business conditions, providing expert guidance on procurement strategies.
  • Present strategic action plans to stakeholders, outlining specific steps for improvement and ensuring effective communication.
  • Develop and deliver training initiatives focused on tendering practices within the NHS environment, with a specific emphasis on Cabinet Office spend controls.
  • Collaborate with Group legal colleagues to develop and implement a rolling program of legal training for collaborators, ensuring colleagues remain up-to-date on legislation and emerging case law.
