Main Responsibilities
  • Lead the implementation of new Procurement Regulations in 2023/24, ensuring seamless integration with existing processes.
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant regulations, laws, and business conditions, providing expert guidance to colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Develop and present strategic action plans to improve procurement strategies, outlining specific steps for improvement.
  • Facilitate training sessions and briefings to ensure a detailed understanding of updated policies and their impact.
  • Collaborate with Group legal colleagues to develop and implement a rolling program of legal training, ensuring colleagues remain current on legislation and emerging case law.
  • Design and deliver training initiatives focused on tendering practices within the NHS environment, with a specific emphasis on Cabinet Office spend controls.
