Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Occupational Therapy Assistant Practitioner to join our team in Nairn Town and County Hospital. As an integral member of the Allied Health team, you will work closely with colleagues and the wider multidisciplinary team to deliver rehabilitation services to patients with ongoing care needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform tasks delegated by senior Occupational Therapists to deliver rehabilitation services to patients.
  • Work independently and jointly with other healthcare professionals to achieve patient outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of patient care plans.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on rehabilitation techniques and strategies.
Requirements
  • Minimum of three years' experience working as a Band 3 Occupational Therapy Assistant or a similar AHP role.
  • Understanding of the role of functional assessment in rehabilitation.
  • Knowledge of reablement and care at home interventions.
  • UK registered car driver with access to a vehicle.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
