**Role Descriptor - Seasonal Golf Course Worker**
**Scope of Role -**
To ensure the customer receives the highest quality of services. To assist the operational running of both courses. To provide a high standard and efficiency of work. Working within a team whilst maintaining a high level of communication with all staff members, golfers and the public. Be aware of Health & Safety with regard to yourself and others.
Flexible hours will be required, on a zero hours contract. Weekly working hours will range from 30 to 36 depending on demand and seasonal timing, generally 5.30 am to 11.30am. Alternating weekend work for 3 hours each morning (5.30am to 8.30am) will be included within the stated range of hours.
Early morning start time (5.30am) is essential. The season will run from July to October. The main and repeated daily tasks will focus on bunker raking and divot filling.
Physical fitness is essential.
**Key Responsibilities -**
- Monitor and maintain good standards of health and safety and security in the workplace towards self and others
- Adhere to environmental policies
- Switching early morning dew, worm-casts and debris from playing surfaces
- Divot filling on fairways and tees
- Raking bunkers
- Working/assisting with turf works
- General maintenance duties
- Driving golf course machinery
- Assisting with larger maintenance projects if required
- Actively maintain all areas within your remit
- To clean and maintain all equipment and notify management of any issues that may arise
- Display a high standard of work and attention to detail at all times
**Qualifications and Education Requirements**:
Be aware of Health & Safety with regard to yourself and other, reporting any issues or concerns to your line manager.
**Essential Requirements**:
Good stamina and physical fitness.
Early morning start times.
**Qualifications**:
Full Driving License - not essential.
**Experience**:
Familiar with a Golfing Environment.
