This position is situated within a correctional facility, where we implement a comprehensive model of psycho-social and clinical assistance, grounded in evidence and focused on addressing intricate individual requirements.

As a Wellbeing Recovery Worker, you will receive a competitive starting salary of £26,324 plus £3,633 for Inner London Weighting, with annual increases aligned with our pay progression structure, reaching up to £30,794 per annum plus £3,633 ILW. Depending on your experience, a higher starting salary may be considered.

Key Responsibilities

As a Wellbeing Recovery Worker, you will contribute to delivering a high-quality, individualized service. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with service users to design realistic and flexible support packages, working in partnership with external organizations, and engaging with community teams. Specific duties encompass providing guidance, information, and referrals to service users, facilitating educational groups on harm reduction, and conducting one-on-one recovery planning sessions. You will also be tasked with performing risk assessments and ensuring timely and accurate documentation.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential. Candidates should have experience managing a caseload of individuals with complex needs and a proven ability to handle incidents involving aggression. The core working hours are Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend shifts on a rotational basis. Due to the nature of the role, successful candidates must obtain full clearance for working in a correctional environment.
