About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing Manager to join our team in London as part of our Marketing function. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering the go-to-market strategy for the Cannes Lions Awards, focusing on new business lead acquisition and customer retention with detailed marketing planning and reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a year-round marketing plan for our Awards at LIONS, leading marketing strategy & planning, with influence on entry volumes and brand KPIs.
  • Work closely with internal Awards, Judging and Content teams to drive new business generation and customer retention across target markets, personas and company types, ensuring seamless integration between Awards and Marketing activities.
  • Partner with the Awards team to deliver impactful customer experience and roll out customer-led Awards activities.
  • Collaborate with our regional festival teams and advise on Awards marketing strategy and planning, building a schedule with clear timelines, milestones and KPIs.
  • Manage a number of priorities and work with multiple stakeholders, and drive campaigns with clear project plans and regular communication.
Requirements
  • Strong experience in marketing, ideally working on or close to an event.
  • Evidence of a deep understanding of marketing strategy and delivery of marketing planning.
  • Experience of developing and delivering multi-channel marketing campaigns; marketing experience in the Awards space a bonus.
  • Experienced briefing internal creative teams or agencies.
  • Expert communicator with attention to detail and brand literacy.
  • Proven track record of delivering work to a deadline, keeping teams regularly updated along the way.
