Purchase Ledger Clerk Opportunity

We are working with a large distribution business based in Grimsby, who are looking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic Purchase Ledger Clerk on a minimum 2-3 month basis, to join their busy, supportive accounts team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Scanning, coding & processing of purchase invoices (including multi-currency)
  • Ensure invoices are sent out for approval
  • Liaising with Suppliers to resolve invoice queries
  • Organise credit notes when required
  • Preparing twice monthly payment runs
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Assisting with various other accounts duties as required
Requirements:
  • Solid experience of purchase ledger
  • Adaptable attitude and ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Proactive approach, team player with strong interpersonal skills
