Purchase Ledger Clerk Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our busy and supportive accounts team at a fast-paced, large distribution business based in Grimsby.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process purchase invoices, including multi-currency transactions, and ensure timely approval
  • Liaise with suppliers to resolve invoice queries and discrepancies
  • Organize credit notes and maintain accurate records
  • Prepare and execute twice-monthly payment runs
  • Conduct supplier statement reconciliations and identify areas for improvement
  • Assist with various other accounts duties as required
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in purchase ledger and a strong understanding of financial transactions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and adapt to changing priorities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive and team-oriented approach
