About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Executive Director of Finance and Investment to join our team at Humber and North Yorkshire Integrated Care Board (ICB). As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our financial strategy and ensuring the long-term sustainability of our services.

Key Responsibilities

As our Executive Director of Finance and Investment, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing our financial strategy to support the delivery of our ambitious plans
  • Leading our finance team to ensure financial responsibility and transparency
  • Building strong relationships with our partners across the system to ensure effective collaboration and coordination
  • Providing financial leadership and mentorship to our staff to drive excellence and innovation
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Substantial board-level leadership experience and/or system leadership experience within a regulatory or similar environment
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to drive financial decision-making
  • Experience of managing complex and sensitive situations with stakeholders
