About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Health Care Support Worker to join our inpatient team at Hywel Dda University Health Board. As a Health Care Support Worker, you will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide high-quality care to patients with mental health problems.
Main Responsibilities:
- Work flexibly and within a shift system providing 24-hour a day cover, 365 days a year
- Provide support to patients with mental health problems and their carers
- Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to deliver high-quality care
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, carers, and colleagues
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements:
- NVQ 2 or equivalent experience
- Ability to work with clients who suffer with mental health problems and their carers
- Desirable: NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, experience in working with people with mental health problems, and Welsh language skills (Level 1)
