Leisure Centre Operations Manager

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Duty Manager to join our team at the Fire Service College. As a Duty Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standard of customer care and service delivery is achieved in our leisure centre.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the leisure centre is operational at all times, providing a safe and welcoming environment for customers.
- Carry out lifeguarding duties and complete required training to maintain the highest standards of safety and customer care.
- Assist the Leisure Centre Manager in ensuring the centre is operational and providing guidance and support to zero hour lifeguard staff.
- Deliver swimming lessons as and when required, providing a high-quality service to customers.
- Support with membership and administration duties, ensuring accurate and timely processing of customer transactions.
- Be in possession of or willing to work towards gaining an RLSS NPLQ qualification, demonstrating a commitment to customer safety and well-being.
- Previous experience as a Duty Manager/Supervisor in the leisure or hotel industry is desirable, with a strong understanding of customer service principles and practices.
- Competent swimmer with a passion for sports and leisure, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Obtain an enhanced DBS certificate as part of our vetting process, ensuring the highest standards of customer safety and security.
