Event Coordinator

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organized and enthusiastic Event Volunteer Coordinator to join our team at RunThrough. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional running events across the UK, while leading the recruitment and communication of event day staff and volunteers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with our event management team to plan and execute events, ensuring seamless execution and high-quality delivery.
- Recruit, manage, and communicate with event day staff and volunteers, fostering a positive and inclusive experience for all.
- Assist in setting up, managing, and dismantling event sites, adhering to our high standards for quality and safety.
- Support the delivery of events as an Event Village team member or lead, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for participants.
- Participate in post-event debriefs to identify areas for improvement and implement changes for future events.
Personal Specification:
- A genuine interest in working in live events, with a passion for running or sports.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse groups of people.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Able to carry out manual tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
