About the Role

NFU Mutual's leading agency is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Insurance Sales Advisor to cover Kent & Sussex, generating Corporate Commercial new business in the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, prospect, select, and sell Commercial and general insurance products to businesses.
  • Develop and manage a pipeline of business to achieve targets, including identifying and cross-selling leads for Financial Services and Risk Management Services.
  • Prospect, self-generate, plan, and manage Mid Corporate Commercial opportunities, supported by a Lead Coordinator.
  • Develop and run marketing campaigns to increase commercial leads.
  • Conduct external sales calls in a compliant and professional manner.
  • Maintain technical knowledge and skills, and develop productive business relationships with key stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Confident and dynamic personality with strong relationship building and prospecting skills.
  • Competent in using Microsoft Office and sales support systems such as MS Dynamics.
  • Extensive commercial insurance sales experience and a proven track record of success.
  • Excellent networker with a strong ability to build and maintain business relationships.

What We Offer

  • Minimum 5 GCSEs at A-C grade.
  • 25 days holiday.
  • Salary dependent on experience.
  • Full driving license.
