Staff Power Group Limited is seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join their team in the Spennymoor area. The ideal candidate will have experience in quality inspection and be able to work independently, prioritizing tasks and solving problems when necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the unloading of raw material delivery vehicles and ensure accurate inventory management.
- Collaborate with the purchasing department to resolve delivery and material shortages.
- Implement and maintain a raw material and finished goods barcoding system to optimize stock control.
- Work closely with production departments to ensure timely delivery of finished goods.
- Supervise and assist with the loading of delivery vehicles, ensuring products are 100% checked, loaded in order, and safely secured.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in quality inspection and a strong understanding of inventory management.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual handling tasks.
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Counterbalance forklift truck license and experience with operating heavy machinery (desirable).

- Competitive hourly rate of £12.00 plus bonus DOE.
