Detailed Job Description
This role is an exciting opportunity to join Dorset Clinical Commissioning Group as a Minor Injury Practitioner. As a key member of the community healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing specialist assessment and treatment in the community setting.
Main Responsibilities
Key responsibilities of this role include:
- Providing specialist assessment and treatment to patients in the community setting
- Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care
- Developing and implementing effective treatment plans to meet the needs of patients
- Providing supervision and training to staff to ensure high-quality patient care
- Managing budgets and resources to ensure efficient delivery of services
Person Specification
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience as a Band 6 Practitioner in the community
- Previous experience of providing specialist assessment and treatment in the community setting
- Experience of working in multidisciplinary teams
- Practical experience of facilitating and managing change
- Previous management experience
- Previous experience of providing supervision and training to staff
Desirable Criteria
It would be beneficial if you have experience of budget management and leadership training.
Knowledge, Skills and Training
You will need to have evidence of leadership training or a willingness to complete, as well as broad clinical and multi-agency knowledge.
