Job Overview

We are currently seeking experienced Nightshift Trunk Drivers to join our team at the Gateshead depot. This role involves transporting goods across various locations, ensuring timely and efficient deliveries.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough daily vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness.
  • Adhere strictly to company procedures, customer protocols, and the Highway Code.
  • Maintain a high standard of health and safety throughout all operations.
  • Complete all assigned deliveries and collections promptly and accurately.
  • Comply with all EU tachograph and Working Time Directive (WTD) regulations.
  • Keep the vehicle clean and organized at all times.

Requirements:

  • Hold a full LGV C+E (Class 1) licence with a minimum of 2 years' experience.
  • Possess a valid Driver Qualification Card (DQC)/Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills.

Applicants must be willing to undergo a DBS check if offered the position.
