Class 1 Driver Wanted

Connect Driver Solutions, a reputable driving and transport recruitment agency, is seeking a skilled Class 1 Driver to join their team.

Location: Team Valley, Gateshead

Pay Rate: £15.28 per hour (paid weekly on PAYE only)

Job Responsibilities:
  • Operate Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently
  • Perform regular vehicle checks to ensure safety and compliance
  • Comply with WTD, driver hours & rest periods
  • Scan pallets
  • Load and unload freight
  • May have to do deliveries in a van but paid as Class 1 regardless
Requirements:
  • Valid CAT C+E licence/LGV 1/HGV 1 licence
  • Minimum 1 year's experience with Class 1 vehicles
  • Valid DQC and digital tacho cards
  • No more than six points on your licence, with no DD, CD, DR, IN, or TT codes accepted
