Job Overview

Miller Maxwell Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Senior C++ Software Engineer to join their expanding low-latency software engineering team. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in the development of innovative electronic trading technology.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions in a commercial environment. Experience in the financial services sector, particularly in the derivatives and options market, is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders and board-level members to drive software development projects forward.
  • Lead and manage Agile development projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Work closely with the technology sales team to understand client development requests and provide effective solutions.
  • Assist in the prioritization of IT software development projects and ensure seamless delivery.
Requirements
  • At least eight years of experience in software engineering in a commercial environment.
  • Proven experience in the financial services sector, particularly in the derivatives and options market.
  • Strong hands-on experience with C++ (5+ years) and proficiency in BOOST, STL, and Multithreading.
  • Experience working in low-latency environments and a strong understanding of Linux/Unix systems.
