MMP Consultancy is seeking a senior professional to lead the Estates and Facilities department of an NHS Trust based in the UK.

This is a permanent position with a competitive salary, with the ideal candidate starting as soon as possible. Previous experience within the NHS at Director level is highly desirable.


This is a senior role in the organisation that has the overarching day-to-day and long-term strategic responsibility for the safety, security and management of the built environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing the Trust's estate strategy to ensure alignment with organisational goals.
• Managing capital projects, including redevelopment and major infrastructure planning, to drive business growth and efficiency.
• Overseeing all aspects of estates management, facilities management, and commercial services to ensure compliance and risk management.
• Managing substantial budgets and driving cost improvement programmes to enhance organisational performance.

Requirements:
• Degree in a relevant discipline; post-graduate qualification preferred.
• Chartered professional registration/accreditation (e.g., RIBA, CIOB, RICS, CIBSE).
• Significant senior management experience in estates and facilities within a large organisation.
• Proven experience in managing major change, financial control, and strategic planning to drive business success.
