proAV Limited is seeking an experienced Event and Conference Technician to join our Glasgow team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical onsite support in event spaces, conference rooms, and meeting rooms.
You will have exposure to a wide range of technologies, including audio visual and video conference systems. Your expertise will be utilized to ensure seamless execution of events and conferences, providing a high-quality experience for attendees.
Key Responsibilities- Setup and operation of integrated events spaces, including high-profile auditorium-based presentations and town halls.
- Proficient in audio, video, and lighting equipment, both digital and analogue.
- Video conference and audio conference setup and support, including software and hardware platforms.
- Manage all aspects of video calls, from initial booking to completion, including scheduling and system testing.
- Prepare equipment for future events and meetings as required.
- Collaborate with the Breakfix team to locate faults and provide resolutions, including hardware fixes and upgrades.
- Provide audio visual support to other areas of the business, including setting up PA systems and assisting with presentations.
- Work independently and as part of a team, with excellent customer service skills and the ability to work calmly under pressure.
- Liaise with senior executives and other stakeholders, providing a professional and presentable image at all times.
- Work onsite shifts, including flexible hours to meet event requirements.
- Administer tasks, including ticketing systems and room booking software.
