We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Instructor to join our team at Gibb Group - Trauma Resus. As an Associate Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering a variety of training courses across the UK and Europe, including IEC Intermediate and Advanced courses, EURIECA courses, First Response Emergency Care courses, and Requalification courses.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality training courses to a range of staff at different grades, ensuring that all learners receive a comprehensive and engaging learning experience.
- Support other instructors in delivering courses and act as a professional subject matter expert, representing the values and ethos of Trauma Resus.
- Ensure that all training equipment used on courses is in good working order and fit for purpose, and provide advice on the procurement of equipment as needed.
- Work with the lead IQA to ensure that all external accreditation criteria are fulfilled and maintained, and support the clinical governance committee on matters relating to training and equipment.
- Support Trauma Resus exhibitions and conferences as required, and work on various quality improvement projects as directed by the head of training.
- Current professional registration with either GMC, NMC, or HCPC.
- Level 3 Teaching and Assessing qualification or equivalent.
- Full UK driving license.
- ILS/PLS/Trauma training or equivalent.
- Human Factors.
- Leadership and Management.
- Risk Management.
- Internal Quality Assurance.
- Excellent organisation and administration skills.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Good knowledge of products used for delivering advanced first aid.
- Excellent leadership skills.
