Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Gas Service and Repair Specialist to join our team at MarkMay as a permanent Gas Engineer. As a key member of our network, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and comfort of residents in private housing properties by servicing, repairing, and maintaining gas systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gas System Maintenance: Conduct routine safety inspections, diagnose and repair faults, and replace parts to restore functionality.
  • Customer Service: Communicate effectively with customers about issues, repairs, and safety, providing excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Compliance and Documentation: Complete service reports and ensure adherence to regulations, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Conduct regular maintenance to prevent future breakdowns, ensuring the smooth operation of gas systems.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Proven experience as a Gas Service and Repair Engineer, CENWAT, CCN1, HTR1, CKR1, and Gas Safe registered with relevant certifications and qualifications.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Thorough knowledge of gas appliances, systems, and safety regulations, excellent problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
  • License and Certification: Valid license with no more than 6 points, and a minimum of 6 months on ACS.
