Key Responsibilities

As a Recycling Commodities Trader, you will be responsible for:

  • Driving the procurement and sales of various recycled materials.
  • Aligning trading activities with the company's objectives for growth, customer retention, and diversification.
  • Identifying new market opportunities and supporting senior management in strategic initiatives.
  • Maintaining and nurturing relationships with both existing and prospective clients in a compliant and ethical manner.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Experience in the waste management and recycling sector with a strong business acumen.
  • Familiarity with different grades and market values of recycled commodities (preferred).
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance standards (preferred).
  • Excellent negotiation capabilities.
  • The ability to cultivate and sustain effective working relationships.
  • Adeptness in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Confidence in engaging with both internal and external stakeholders.
