Lead Project Planner

Location: Yorkshire and East Midlands

Your Role

In this pivotal position, you will oversee the planning processes, ensuring that our commitment to Health & Safety is paramount. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing strategic planning procedures to enhance best practices and ensure robustness, including regional protocols for bidding and construction phase planning, program control, and reporting.
  • Providing planning support for all regional bids, managing the appraisal and review process to identify program constraints, statutory and contractual obligations, and analyzing program risks to develop efficient logistics solutions.
  • Collaborating with the bid team to create commercially viable tender solutions.
  • Engaging with key supply chain partners to ensure alignment with program strategies.
  • Assisting in the preparation and presentation of bid appraisal materials for regional board evaluations.
  • Coordinating the preparation and delivery of client presentations and interviews.
  • Managing the transition of program intelligence from bid to contract stage, including program assumptions, resource calculations, supply chain agreements, and time risk allowances.

As a Lead Project Planner, you will have substantial experience in planning or significant front-end construction project management, with the ability to operate strategically and refine procedures to reflect industry best practices. A solid understanding of design, procurement, and commercial processes, along with their impact on planning and programming, is essential. You will be driven and eager to advance your career.
