Part-time role, requiring 15 hours of work per week, with a shift pattern of 3 weekdays in the first week and 1 weekday plus 2 weekend days in the second week, consisting of 5-hour shifts.

Leonard Cheshire is a residential care establishment dedicated to supporting individuals with physical disabilities. We are situated in a serene and picturesque rural environment.

Role Overview

As a Recreational Activities Coordinator, your primary responsibility will be to facilitate a variety of engaging and enjoyable social and recreational activities, creating enriching experiences for our residents. You will be tasked with organizing outings and events, where your creativity and enthusiasm for providing diverse options will significantly enhance the quality of life for the individuals we serve.

Whether you are orchestrating a large community social gathering, discovering shared interests among smaller groups, or exploring culinary talents through baking sessions, you will find numerous opportunities to apply your creativity and make a meaningful impact.

Candidate Profile

While prior experience in activity coordination is not mandatory, possessing a creative mindset, strong organizational abilities, and a genuine interest in planning engaging social activities is essential.

Previous experience in activity facilitation or working with individuals with disabilities would be beneficial.
