Part-time role, 15 hours per week, with a shift pattern of 3 weekdays in the first week and 1 weekday plus 2 weekend days in the second week, comprising 5-hour shifts.

Leonard Cheshire operates a residential care facility accommodating 22 individuals with physical disabilities. Our location is set in a picturesque rural area.

Role Overview

As a Recreational Activities Coordinator, your primary responsibility will be to implement a variety of engaging and enjoyable social and recreational activities that offer enriching experiences for our residents. You will be tasked with organizing outings and events, utilizing your creativity and enthusiasm to provide diverse options that enhance the quality of life for individuals with disabilities.

Whether you are orchestrating a large community event, identifying shared interests among smaller groups, or exploring culinary talents through baking sessions, your creativity will play a crucial role in delivering memorable experiences.

Candidate Profile

While prior experience in activity coordination is not mandatory, possessing artistic skills, strong organizational abilities, or a genuine interest in crafting exceptional social experiences is essential.

Previous involvement in activities programming or supporting individuals with disabilities would be beneficial.
