Job Overview:


In Technology Group is seeking a dedicated Technical Support Specialist to enhance our Managed Services team, providing essential IT assistance to various educational institutions.

This role involves traveling to multiple locations to deliver on-site support, with a requirement for a valid driving license and personal vehicle for transportation.

In addition to fieldwork, you will also engage in remote support via phone and email to ensure prompt resolution of technical issues.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct on-site visits to deliver IT support to educational staff and students
  • Oversee the maintenance, updates, and upgrades of IT infrastructure within schools
  • Identify and resolve technical problems efficiently
  • Install and monitor hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners
  • Assist in the configuration and upkeep of computers and IT equipment
  • Manage user access rights effectively
  • Research and propose hardware and software solutions to enhance system performance
  • Safeguard the security and privacy of networks and computer systems
  • Contribute to the preparation and upkeep of IT documentation

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficient understanding of Networking principles
  • Familiarity with Active Directory and Backup Solutions
  • Experience with Office 365 management
  • Knowledge of SharePoint
  • Competence in MDM setups via Intune or similar platforms
  • Cloud Support experience - Azure/AWS
  • Understanding of network protocols such as DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP
  • Experience with Router/Switch configurations and firewall management
  • Valid driving license and access to a personal vehicle

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in an educational environment
  • Background in Managed Service Provider (MSP) settings
  • Availability for immediate engagement
