Operations Co-ordinator – Defence Division

Hours: 40 hours per week

Location: Office based in Milton Keynes

Range between £24,000 to £26,000 depending on experience

Reporting to: Operations Manager – Defence Division

Pertemps Medical is going through an exciting period of growth and change. We are seeking to add to our brilliant team to support our significant multi-year investment and expansion plans – building upon our strong ethos of patient safety, high clinical standards, robust team support, and sector-leading dynamism.

The Operations Co-ordinator will play a crucial role in undertaking clerical and administrative support duties relating to the medical screening of Royal Navy and Royal Marines applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing candidate records using Microsoft Office Suite and the Pertemps Internal Candidate Management system
  • Liaising with applicants, Armed Forces Careers Officers and Medical Experts - answering queries and assisting candidates throughout the application process
  • Discussing medical aspects of candidate's application forms
  • Seeking guidance on specific cases from management team or medical contacts when directed
  • Co-ordinating medical assessments
  • Answering the phone and responding to candidate queries
  • Providing reporting data from internal candidate management system

Requirements:

  • Awareness of how your own performance impacts the overall team performance
  • Following all business processes, policies and systems to deliver agreed customer service levels
