Location: Chard, Somerset
Work Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 8am - 4:30pm & Friday, 8am - 2pm
Compensation: £14.00 PH DOE
Employment Type: Temporary to Permanent

About the Company
A prominent player in the metal fabrication sector, recognized for their superior products and dedication to quality. They are expanding their production capabilities and are in search of a committed and skilled Metal Fabrication Specialist to join their vibrant workforce.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate metal forming machinery to bend, shape, and fabricate metal components in accordance with technical specifications.
- Interpret and analyze blueprints, technical schematics, and specifications.
- Set up and calibrate metal forming machines, including selecting appropriate tools and programming the equipment.
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on metal fabrication machinery.
- Perform quality assurance checks on finished products to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Maintain a tidy and organized workspace, following all safety regulations.
- Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to achieve production targets and timelines.
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrated experience as a Metal Fabrication Specialist in a manufacturing context.
- In-depth knowledge of metal forming processes, tooling, and maintenance practices.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Physical stamina and the capability to stand for extended periods and manage heavy materials.
