Here at Doncasters we specialise in turning metals into motion, working with household names such as Rolls Royce and Airbus, we are looking for an experienced Despatch Assistant to help us continue our Journey. Based in our site in Chard, easily commutable from Ilminster, Yeovil, Exeter.

The working hours for this role are 37 per week.

**The Role**

As a Despatch Assistant, you will play an integral role in preparing parts for shipments. First things first, you will use your strong attention to detail to visually inspect our parts, looking over important x-ray reports and test certifications. Once these checks have been completed, you will pack and arrange the shipments, specifically designed for each individual customer.

At Doncasters, we are a data-driven business. With this in mind, you will regularly create shipping documentation, using Microsoft Excel and our internal ERP systems to monitor the whole process.

As a team player, you will use your excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills to ensure your work is done to the best of your ability.
