About the Role

This is a varied position within the manufacturing industry, working in a busy company that produces life-saving devices. As a Production Operative, you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting with production and operating industrial machinery/equipment safely
  • Ensuring attention to detail when preparing products
  • Ensuring products are manufactured to a high standard
  • Working within different sections of production, including cutting, bending, welding, securing, and assembling products

Key Responsibilities

Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Operating and maintaining industrial equipment to ensure efficient production
  • Conducting quality checks to ensure products meet high standards
  • Collaborating with colleagues to achieve production goals
  • Participating in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong work ethic and a commitment to maintaining high standards
  • Punctuality and reliability
  • The ability to use your own initiative with a good level of common sense
  • Health and safety awareness skills
  • A background working within the manufacturing environment (although not essential)
