Project Manager for Regenerative Research Initiative

Position Overview
This is a part-time, fixed-term role focused on managing research projects for the Becoming Regenerative initiative, which aims to foster innovation through entrepreneurship and interspecies creativity.
Role Objectives
The primary aim of this position is to deliver comprehensive and proactive management for the B-Regen Project, a UKRI-funded initiative spearheaded by Dr. Tuukka Toivonen. This project explores the development of new regenerative innovations and startups over a three-year period, collaborating with esteemed partners including the Royal College of Art and University College London.
We seek a highly organized and entrepreneurial professional with a proven track record in coordinating international research projects within higher education or think tank settings. The ideal candidate will possess creativity and insight into managing public events and enhancing the project's online presence and branding, which may involve working with freelance designers and artists.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the strategic and daily operations of the project team, which includes the Principal Investigator, co-investigators, Post-Doctoral Research Fellows, and relevant university staff.
- Collaborate with external partners, including notable fashion brands and sustainable startup networks.
- Ensure effective communication and relationship management with key stakeholders.
- Utilize and develop innovative digital organizational tools and platforms to enhance project management.
Essential Qualifications
- Extensive experience in managing multidisciplinary research projects at a global university or think tank.
- Proven ability to lead multiple initiatives with efficiency and creativity, while maintaining a focus on process, strategy, and financial management.
- Strong background in stakeholder management and customer relations.
- Familiarity with advanced digital tools and platforms beyond standard office software.
