Job Description

Position Overview: PAVE Insight Ltd, a pioneering startup at the forefront of the connected mobility research industry, is seeking a Senior Researcher to contribute to its research efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead research initiatives to analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer behaviors in the connected mobility sector.
  • Conduct primary and secondary research, including surveys, interviews, and data analysis, to gather insights and validate hypotheses.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define research objectives, develop research methodologies, and interpret findings.
  • Prepare and present research reports, presentations, and dashboards to communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Monitor industry developments, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies relevant to the connected mobility ecosystem.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and growth based on research findings and market analysis.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior research analysts, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
  • Support business development efforts by providing research insights and data-driven recommendations to inform strategic decisions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Sciences, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in quantitative market research or a related analytical role.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills (e.g., creating industry forecasts) and proven ability in data and statistical analysis tools and techniques (MS Excel, Power BI, etc.) as well as research methodologies.
  • Experience with industry data mining tools (e.g., D&B, Comtrade, Eurostat, etc.) is a strong asset.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to distill complex ideas orally and in writing into clear and actionable insights and top-quality reports, articles, and blogs.
  • Proven track record of conducting quantitative market research and competitive analysis, preferably in the automotive industry.

Work Environment: This is a remote contractor or freelancer opportunity, with a preferred time zone matching GMT.
