Job Summary

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Undertake training on various hospital instruments
  • Learn essential form and functionality, with a focus on complex repairs
  • Examine, test, and troubleshoot equipment for defects and issues
  • Determine the best course of service or repair to restore devices to working order
  • Work with equipment and machinery, including microscopes, grinders, and soldering irons
  • Repair casings, flex tubing, circuitry, electronics, and machined parts
  • Adhere to health and safety policies and procedures
  • Support ISO goals and objectives and lean philosophy

Requirements and Qualifications

  • English language proficiency
  • Minimum 1 year of work experience
  • Good hand-eye coordination and precision use of hands
  • Attention to detail and ability to read schematics and instructions
  • Comfortable sitting, standing, and bending frequently
  • Ability to follow instructions and procedures

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in a similar role or environment with power and hand tools
  • Prior work experience in a role requiring manipulation, bending, and intricate assembly work
