Position Overview

Visa is on the lookout for a Senior Product Manager to join the Visa Direct Backoffice product team within the broader Commercial Money Movement Services division. This role is situated in our London Paddington office and reports directly to the Director of Product Management for Backoffice. The team is responsible for a wide range of services and platforms that manage treasury, foreign exchange, compliance, payment operations, and reconciliation functions.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong collaboration skills with stakeholders from various business units, including Treasury, Legal Compliance, Payment Operations, and Customer Service, both within CMS/MMS and externally. Candidates should possess substantial product management experience, familiarity with agile software development life cycles, cross-functional team leadership capabilities, and exceptional communication, business analysis, problem-solving, coordination, process optimization, and change management skills. A customer-centric approach is essential, along with experience working closely with fellow product managers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with internal stakeholders to comprehend their needs and those of their clients.
  • Assess stakeholder feedback and collaborate with other Product Managers to address concerns and pinpoint opportunities for enhancement.
  • Define the quarterly product roadmap and provide updates on progress.
  • Offer strategic recommendations for product or network strategy and associated roadmaps based on market needs and performance analysis.
  • Participate in feature prioritization by presenting the vision to teams, highlighting upcoming milestones, and approving prioritized quarterly objectives.
  • Oversee a team of product owners, coordinate on dependency items, and ensure feature prioritization aligns with the overall vision and objectives.
  • Facilitate workshops for stakeholders as necessary.
  • Collaborate with business and technology experts to define project scope, create estimates, develop budgets, and produce essential documentation.
  • Deliver timely and accurate status updates to stakeholders and host regular cross-organizational management briefings.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks and issues.
  • Cultivate strong, lasting relationships with clients and internal stakeholders at all levels.
  • Identify and manage dependencies and impacts effectively.
  • Embrace agile methodologies with a focus on continuous improvement.

This role offers a hybrid work arrangement, allowing employees to alternate between remote and office work. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week, as determined by leadership, with a general guideline of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business requirements.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• 7-10 years of professional experience along with a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced Degree with 7+ years of relevant experience or a PhD with 3+ years of experience in customer-facing products.

• Proficiency in strategy development, global product development, end-to-end product lifecycle management, stakeholder relationship management, data analysis and validation, product testing, and formulating go-to-market and pricing strategies.

• Strong planning, problem-solving, organizational, analytical, and issue resolution skills.
