Job Summary

We are seeking a visionary nursing leader to join our Medical Division at Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As the Divisional Director of Quality and Nursing, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the delivery of exceptional patient care and clinical outcomes.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead and inspire the nursing workforce to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive quality strategy to ensure the Trust consistently delivers on its vision.
  • Provide strategic nursing leadership to develop high-quality, safe, and cost-effective nursing services for patients.
  • Ensure the Division has robust systems of internal control in place to maintain high standards of patient care.
  • Collaborate with the Chief of Service and Director of Operations to drive operational performance and strategic development.

Requirements
  • Registered Nurse (NMC register)
  • United Kingdom recognised Degree in Nursing
  • Masters Level Study
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development through maintenance of professional portfolio and registration revalidation
  • Experience of working in an acute clinical environment
  • Previous experience in a relevant speciality
