About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Assembly Technician to join our electro mechanical team at Dexory. As an Assembly Technician, you will play a critical role in building and commissioning subsystems and complete robot builds, enabling us to deliver groundbreaking technology faster and to a high quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble sub-assemblies and products as defined by work instructions
  • Support the assembly process of robots for various practices and the wider business to achieve business objectives
  • Inspect and test assembled units to a set specification and perform repairs
  • Determine availability of materials and tools

Requirements

  • Experience in technical functions, both autonomously and as part of a team
  • Manual build and assembly processes of complex, high-precision mechanical and electrical systems
  • Accountable for build and preparation of complete products and sub-assemblies
  • Working knowledge of Health and Safety procedures
  • Flexibility when working unsociable hours to meet program targets
  • Ability to adapt to changes in the workshop as projects and priorities change
  • Excellent communication skills and a willingness to develop and learn

Desirable Qualifications

  • Experience in precision manufacturing industry (including motorsport, industrial equipment, aerospace, automotive etc)
  • Positive can-do attitude towards work and fellow team members
