We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic leader to join our busy Community Continence Team as a Clinical Lead Continence Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a 'can do' attitude and a passion for delivering high-quality care.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the line management of a small number of staff and will have experience in delivering training and development programs. They will work closely with the existing Clinical Lead, including a cross-over day per week, to ensure seamless delivery of services.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management
- Manage and take overall responsibility for care quality performance and clinical activity by providing professional nursing leadership and guidance.
- Ensure the delivery of a clinically effective service that meets the needs of individuals, families, and communities.
- Service Development
- Be responsible for the coordination of services and to promote optimum health, self-management, and effective liaison between agencies.
- Develop and implement specialist care interventions and care plans that meet the needs of clients.
- Staff Development
- Ensure staff are trained appropriately to competently deliver the care required.
- Provide supervision and mentorship to staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality care.
- Advanced skills and expert knowledge in nursing and healthcare.
- Experience in delivering training and development programs.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
