We are seeking an experienced Registered General Nurse to join our team on the Patience Ward. As a Band 6 nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and leading the nursing team.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will have a strong background in renal nursing and excellent leadership skills. You will be responsible for managing the nursing staff, ensuring patients receive high-quality care, and promoting effective multi-disciplinary team working.
Key Responsibilities:- Deputise for the Ward Manager and lead the nursing team in their absence.
- Manage the department and nursing staff, ensuring patients receive high-quality care and a good patient experience.
- Be accountable for your practice and take every opportunity to sustain and improve your knowledge and professional competence.
- Communicate effectively with other members of the multi-disciplinary team to ensure seamless care within the trust.
We are looking for a nurse with:
- Evidence of professional/clinical knowledge in renal nursing.
- Practice Assessor/Supervisor/Teaching Qualification.
- Post-registration qualification in renal nursing or equivalent experience.
- Renal Course or equivalent experience.
We are looking for a nurse with experience in renal patient care, including:
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience of renal patient pathways.
- Experience of managing patients within the speciality.
- Experience of teaching, assessing, and supervising others in a clinical setting.
We are looking for a nurse who:
- Values and Behaviour.
We require a Registered Nurse with RN1/RN2/RN12 or RN Child Registered Nurse on the NMC register.
