Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Year 5 Teacher to join our team at Wayman Learning Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons for Year 5 students, assessing their progress, and creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that cater to different learning styles and promote active participation and academic growth.
  • Assess students' progress and provide timely and constructive feedback to support their development.
  • Create a safe and motivating learning environment that fosters a love for learning and encourages students to reach their full potential.
  • Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to engage students and promote academic excellence.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching in a primary school, preferably with experience in Year 5.
  • A strong understanding of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
