Position Overview:
AIR Personnel Ltd is pleased to announce an opening for the role of Lead Aircraft Maintenance Planner. This position is integral to our expanding Planning Team, focusing on the comprehensive planning process for all Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) base maintenance operations.

Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Acting as the primary liaison for clients, ensuring effective communication between our engineering team and customers.
  • Overseeing pre-input planning, generating work packages, monitoring progress, and managing the closure of work packages.
  • Understanding and addressing customer requirements, ensuring that our engineering responses are well-planned and executed efficiently.
  • Providing daily updates to customers regarding aircraft serviceability.
  • Collaborating with local operational teams to facilitate seamless departmental operations.
  • Participating in quality audits and ensuring that all audit closure actions are effectively implemented.
  • Reporting any Safety Management System (SMS) or quality issues.
  • Delivering regular briefings to engineering management.
  • Supporting the Quality & Safety team in fulfilling departmental tasks.

Qualifications:
Candidates should possess:

  • An ICAO Type II level Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) Licence or an equivalent Aeronautical Degree.
  • Extensive experience in planning within a Business Aviation Aircraft Engineering context.
  • Proficiency in MRO planning and CAMO software applications.
