About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join our team at Sikla Group. As a key member of our engineering office in Milton Keynes, you will be responsible for assessing, designing, and ratifying structural framing systems using Sikla steelwork.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess customer requirements to ensure designs are fit for purpose
  • Review and digest engineering drawings to extrapolate data
  • Produce structural calculation reports and comprehensive manufacturing drawings
  • Manage interactions between Sikla and client engineering teams
  • Collaborate with regional engineering teams from UK, USA, and Oceania
  • Provide ongoing technical support for other Sikla colleagues
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Engineering (Civil/Structural or Mechanical)
  • Autodesk Suite – AutoCAD 2D / 3D, Navisworks
  • Proficient in Structural Analysis – (e.g. Tekla TEDDS, STAAD Pro, RSTAB)
  • Knowledge of BIM (Building Information Modelling) concept and methodology (preferred)
