About the Role:

RPS Group is seeking an experienced Structural Design Engineer to join our Structures Team.

We are a leading provider of consulting and engineering services, with a global presence and a commitment to delivering innovative solutions to complex problems.

About the Team:

Our Structures Team is a dynamic and collaborative group of professionals who are passionate about delivering exceptional results. We work closely with clients to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions that meet their goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the management of structural engineering projects, including financial responsibility and team management.
  • Develop and implement design solutions for a range of structural engineering projects, including foundations, masonry, concrete, steel, and timber structures.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders and clients to deliver projects that meet their needs and expectations.
  • Conduct site visits and undertake structural surveys, investigations, and repair schemes for structures.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service.

Requirements:

  • Chartered status with ICE, IStructE, or equivalent.
  • Experience in the design of foundations, masonry, concrete, steel, and timber structures.
  • Experience in the residential market, including traditional construction and framed structures.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a team of engineers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
