Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Housekeeping and Laundry Assistant to join our team at Grosvenor Manor Care Centre. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene within the home.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete daily and weekly cleaning schedules, ensuring all areas of the home are clean and tidy.
  • Follow guidance from the Head Housekeeper to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed to the highest standard.
  • Contribute to the achievement of the home's standards for housekeeping, ensuring all areas meet the required standards.
  • Undertake general cleaning tasks, including laundry duties, as delegated by the Head Housekeeper.
  • Ensure the working environment is safe and free from hazards, adhering to all relevant health and safety guidelines.
  • Take responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of adults in our care.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in non-domestic cleaning, preferably in a care setting.
  • Ability to operate cleaning equipment and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Reliability and trustworthiness, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
