Housekeeping and Laundry Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and organised Housekeeping and Laundry Assistant to join our team at Grosvenor Manor Care Centre. This is a part-time, fixed-term contract with 30 hours per week and an excellent hourly rate of £10.75.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete daily and weekly cleaning schedules and sign necessary paperwork.
- Follow guidance from the Head Housekeeper and contribute to the achievement of the Home's standards for Housekeeping.
- Undertake general cleaning tasks and follow any other cleaning duties as delegated by the Head Housekeeper.
- Carry out laundry duties when required and ensure the working environment is free from hazards.
- Take responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of adults in the Home.
Requirements:
- Previous non-domestic cleaning experience and experience of working in a care setting would be beneficial.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment and follow simple written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to communicate effectively with other team members and display reliability and trustworthiness.
