Job Role Overview
We're seeking a caring and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team in Salford. As a Care Assistant, you'll play a vital role in providing high-quality, person-centred care to our clients, enabling them to live safely and independently in their own homes.
About the Role
You'll be responsible for providing companionship, personal care, and support with daily tasks such as meal preparation and light housekeeping. You'll also accompany clients to appointments and social events, helping to combat loneliness and isolation.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need to be a driver with access to a vehicle insured in your name with Class A Business Insurance. You'll also need to be resident within Salford, as this is a key requirement for the position. Formal care experience is not necessary, as we provide full training. However, you will need to be over 18 and have GCSE level English or equivalent.
Working Hours
As a Care Assistant, you'll be required to work at least 2 evenings and alternative weekends, with core hours between 8am- 1pm and 4.45pm - 9.30pm. There may be opportunities to increase your hours beyond these times.
