Position Overview:

A Regional Sales Executive is sought after to represent a prominent global manufacturer in the electrical sector.

The Regional Sales Executive will operate remotely, engaging with clients throughout the Southwest UK, specifically from Birmingham to Cornwall. The primary focus will be on generating new business opportunities and nurturing key accounts related to power quality solutions, particularly Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing significant accounts through distribution networks and OEM clients within the critical power sector, with a strong emphasis on uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) and related power quality solutions.
  • Enhancing and expanding existing client relationships while spearheading business development initiatives for UPS products.
  • Meeting sales objectives by promoting new power quality solutions through demonstrations, trade shows, and negotiations.
  • Working closely with the Service Department to ensure exceptional after-sales support.
  • Collaborating with various engineering teams.
  • Fully remote role covering the Southwest region.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Key Account Manager, Regional Sales Executive, Technical Sales Engineer, Sales Manager, or Business Development Manager within the electrical engineering domain.
  • A strong drive, enthusiasm, and ambition to thrive and progress with a leading electrical engineering firm.
  • Background in selling, servicing, or managing accounts in the electrical sector, particularly with uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), power quality, and related systems.
  • Familiarity with the data center industry and UPS market is advantageous.
  • Technical knowledge and understanding of Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS), power distribution, and critical power solutions.
  • A technical qualification or degree in electrical engineering is preferred.
  • Ability to work remotely while visiting clients across the Southwest UK.
