Position Overview:
We are looking for a Logistics Administrator to become a vital part of our logistics team. This role will involve managing Goods in/out inventory, ensuring accurate stock inventory updates, and performing various administrative tasks. The successful candidate will communicate with transport companies and coordinate deliveries with clients, requiring meticulous attention to detail in data processing.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all administrative functions related to the Warehouse & Logistics department. Coordinate with transport companies regarding delivery schedules. Maintain regular communication with customers. Perform data entry tasks with a focus on accuracy. Manage dispatch and receipt operations efficiently. Address customer inquiries and follow up on requests and orders. Provide updates to customers on their orders and prepare relevant spreadsheets. Monitor KPIs and assess delivery performance to clients. Collaborate with internal departments as necessary. Schedule and confirm incoming goods deliveries. Organize customer delivery bookings.Qualifications:
GCSE or equivalent qualifications in Mathematics and English. Relevant experience in a similar role. Strong telephone communication skills and the ability to foster positive customer relationships. Awareness of the business landscape relevant to your responsibilities. Proficient written and verbal communication abilities. Proactive, innovative, and adaptable to changing circumstances. Motivated individual who inspires others. Capable of working independently or as part of a team. Excellent interpersonal skills. Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. Demonstrated ability to influence and persuade effectively.The working hours will be structured over a standard workweek.
