Role: Sous Chef

Location: London Bridge Hospital

Shifts: Flexible shift patterns to suit you, between Monday and Sunday, 6:30am to 10pm

Hours: Part time – 30 hours per week

Salary: £27,844 to £30,938 (this is the full time equivalent and will be pro rata'd to reflect part time hours) + excellent benefits (pension, health cover, flexible benefits package plus career development)

At London Bridge Hospital, we're looking for a skilled Sous Chef to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you'll work under the direction of the Head Chef, alongside other chefs and catering staff. Your role will involve managing your own section, preparing high-quality meals, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.

What we're looking for:

  • A background in food preparation and cooking, with a strong knowledge of food hygiene principles and commercial experience
  • NVQ level 2 or equivalent in catering, plus Basic qualification in Food Hygiene Level 2 or above
  • Self-motivation and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with the confidence to run a section smoothly
  • The ability to adhere at all times to food safety regulations, health and safety, client and company policies
