Engineering Manager

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to join our team at Get Staff. As an Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for controlling all engineering cost lines through robust planning and auditing, driving engagement with engineering management and supervisory teams, and managing the engineering teams in accordance with policies, standard operating procedures, all relevant legislation, and Health and Safety Compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. To control all engineering cost lines through robust planning and auditing.
  2. Drive engagement with engineering management and supervisory teams.
  3. To manage the engineering teams in accordance with policies, standard operating procedures, all relevant legislation, and Health and Safety Compliance.
  4. To ensure all engineering support software/programmes and diagnostic equipment is used effectively within the engineering departments.
  5. Performance management and training plans for engineering staff.
  6. To deliver agreed plans and budgets, including established levels of cleaning, including sanitising, servicing, and MOT quality.

Requirements:

  1. Recognised engineering qualification such as Level 3 HGV City & Guilds/NVQ or equivalent.
  2. Excellent working knowledge of all daily site procedures, engineering processes, health and safety regulations, DVSA standards.
  3. NEBOSH qualified.
  4. Strong people management and leadership skills, capable of motivating and maintaining discipline with engineering and cleaning staff.
